We are working to instill a tradition of foundational skills in music for all current and future students at John F. Kennedy Elementary School. Every attending student has the opportunity to study music regardless of their individual ability level. Being a primary tool for developing music literacy in students, having access to a piano for every student in the classroom will foster a community of exploration, collaboration, and practice, which will transfer over to their interactions in other subject areas as well as cultivating the overall community. The students are always full of terrific surprises, and we are looking forward to their outcomes in an equitable and collaborative environment!

About my class
