Sixth-grade students have many opportunities to read within their day so I want the reading that takes place within the walls of my reading classroom to be fun & comfortable! Have you ever gotten lost in a good book and struggled to find a stopping point? I want my students to experience that as well...and not while being cramped in an uncomfortable desk. They will beg for more time to read if they are comfortable and relaxed. These items will be free for all students to use throughout the day. They will be spread throughout the room so students can work in small groups, pairs, or independently.
