Our students attend a project-based charter school. We have an almost 65% poverty rate and 30% special education students. All students are welcome to apply to attend our school. Our learning community includes gifted students who received As in traditional schools but were bored with the required seat time, average students who like more support and self-paced education, at-risk students, and students serving expulsion orders. Despite diversity in their lives, our students learn to develop educational ownership that engages them in the learning process and opens their minds to possibilities. Students who had been lost in the traditional school environment are experiencing success at our school.
