Teaching in a pandemic has made me rethink how I could be teaching my inquisitive students. It has occurred to me that utilizing an outdoor classroom would be beneficial. The curriculum I have selected has many books that will lead to authentic writing while using the wonderful outdoors as our learning environment.The books will not only promote writing but will also enhance children's text to world connections. These books will create a love of learning through nature walks, collections of nature, art, and music. The early childhood years are the most influential years of a child. With your generous donation, I will be able to provide my wonderful children the love of reading, writing and nature through the world as they see it.
