The effects of the pandemic have limited students' opportunities to collaborate in meaningful ways. These breakout challenges and kits will foster a sense of community in our classroom, as students improve their social skills while working together to solve clues and puzzles related to our content. BreakoutEDU "escape rooms" promote teamwork and critical thinking by presenting teams with challenges that spark their natural drive to problem-solve. As students solve content-based questions, their solutions are applied to various codes, locks, and ciphers. Breakouts can be used to reinforce academic standards in all subject areas in an engaging, exciting way! Our students will benefit from these resources to collaborate in teams while enhancing their growth mindsets and communication skills!
