In my speech classes, students learn the importance of effective communication and presentation skills. These materials will be used to model and display specific expectations. YouTube, Ted Talks, and videos from the National Speech and Debate Association are some of the video resources used in our classroom. The projector and laptop will make a difference in my students' learning because they will no longer have to share cell phones or other electronic devices, but we will be able to observe and discuss together as a class. Students will also have the opportunity to incorporate visual aids in their presentations. In addition, this technology will allow students to receive virtual learning and field trips without ever leaving the classroom.
