My 4th grade students are SO DESERVING!! They are the most kind, and caring group of kids that I’ve ever had the pleasure of teaching! They have a genuine concern for one another and we are as close as family can get! What I admire most about them is how they show peer accountability. My students consistently hold each other accountable for maintaining high expectations and making good choices. There is a mutual respect when they engage in difficult conversations, which I am very proud of! While my school is a title one school, and some of my students are experiencing homelessness, this does not define who they are and what they are capable of being! They are loving, caring and capable students who have so much to share with the world. I am so proud of the people they are becoming and I want to assure that they are not limited by their circumstances because they deserve nothing short of the best!
