Studies show that using hands-on instruction and/or music helps students to retain information better. The student I service are performing below grade level, the games and manipulatives will help to make learning fun and engaging! The difference these materials will make for my students learning is immeasurable! With the tablets they will be able to use google and other websites to build background knowledge about specific topics. I like to give my students opportunity to dance during fluency drills, and read with a buddy on the carpet. When they leave their classroom setting for 40-30 minutes, I want to make it as fun and effective as possible. Donating to our project will help me to help my students achieve!!
