Hello. My name is Tamra Peck. I teach at Maple Grove. I have been in this district for 29 years. There have been many changes through the years, but the importance of reading has not changed. I want my students to leave second grade with a joy and passion for reading. It is a lifelong skill that they will use on a daily basis. It is something they can immerse themselves in and experience things that they would not get to experience in a real-life setting. Education is a tough field, but each and every day, I am reminded why I continue to teach, the children. I get excited when they get excited. I worry when they worry. I'm sad when they are sad. I love them all. All of my students are unique little people with growing minds. It is such an honor to be a part of their lives. I hope you join me in bringing this project to completion. I want to give them an unforgettable literature experience.
