My students need wiggle cushions to help them sit comfortably and stay actively engaged. We are moving to a blended learning classroom but remain in a traditional classroom setting. We cannot create any more space, but we can make the space they have more comfortable. I think the wiggle cushions will inspire them to enjoy my math class in a different way. My goal is to help them to want to come to my class, and I feel adding wiggle cushions will make a small difference in their learning environment. I also want them to feel comfortable talking about and sharing their math. The Ipad recording mount will be a good resource to allow students' to video their problem solving skills and sharing their skills with others. They will be able to record and post their strategies. Their ways of problem solving are often different. Recording their style elicits interest from their peers when they see new ways to "do math" specifically from their classmates. With these classroom resources, I hope to make the math experience in the blended learning classroom much more exciting and interesting for my students.
