Due to having students with vision impairments, the Adaptive Light Coverings will reduce glare and cause less stress and fatigue on their vision. The white board easel will make it more feasible to have a white board during small group instruction so that it will be close to the students. The vibrant colors of the poster board markers will also assist the students in being more capable of seeing print during small group instruction and whole group instruction. Less glare and closer and bolder print will assist my vision impaired students in being able to see materials being presented during lessons. During lessons the white board in the classroom is not near the small group instruction table; having the easel and bright colored markers will assist me in being able to focus more on teaching and the students will be seated close to the easel so that they are not straining their eyesight to see the board from a distance. This will also grab the attention of the other students who do not have vision problems, but do have difficulty staying focused. Also, the adaptive light coverings will reduce glare on the white board and pages when they are out on the desk. The light coverings will also help to make the classroom environment more of a soothing and calm environment for those who experience anxiety.
