The world and technology is changing so much and my students need to keep up with the ever changing technology. Because of the constant changing, some of the careers that my students will be employed in as a teenager or adult have not even been created yet. To help students prepare for the future but especially to help my students learn to problem solve and persevere right now I plan to use coding robots with my curriculum. I plan on using the coding robot activities to have students program code to move robots around a grid of numbers, letters, or sight words that will help them improve their reading and math skills. I look forward to encouraging my students to not give up when the code doesn't work and to teach them the importance of collaboration to be successful.
