The students in my class are extremely motivated to learn and curious about the world around them. They are hard-working children who come to school with great attitudes for a full-day program. I work my hardest to teach them more than a school year's worth of information to catch them up with their peers who do not have to deal with poverty. The majority of them are not able to afford preschool so we often have quite a bit of catching up to do. They have big dreams and which they are ready and willing to work hard to attain. I make sure they get science, technology, health, music, social studies, and physical education in addition to their main math and literacy lessons so they will become well-rounded kids ready to set the world on fire. As their teacher, I am blessed to teach these children and hope you see how special they are too by donating to extend their knowledge.
