My students are fabulous fifth graders! They love to learn, and they LOVE to use technology. Many of our students receive free or reduced price lunch. We are from the metro Detroit area; many of our families struggle financially, and do not have technology to use in their homes. They truly light up when we use new technologies in the classroom. As a teacher it is my joy to see their love for learning shine when they are engaged in learning with technology in the classroom.
