These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy. Each book added to my classroom library is welcomed and treated with care. As I get to know my students I'm careful to pay close attention to their book interests and these books have been chosen with those interests in mind. Students will be able to choose books they enjoy and make independent reading time something to look forward to. Last year I had a list of students waiting to read a few books they all liked. With these new books, my students will be able to select from a larger variety of books of their interest, which will enhance their like of reading, as well as their reading abilities. These books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students already have shown an astounding interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
