Over 70% of students are set up in the free and reduced-price lunch program. Many families struggle in providing their students with basic supplies. With the economic downfall and financial struggles, it is important to reduce the families' stress and burdens by helping provide students with much-needed school items. The students cannot share supplies, so they need basic items like pens, pencils, pouches to store the items, and highlighters in my reading class in order to chart, chunk, and summarize texts, write essays, revise and edit their papers, and more. By providing these supplies to the students, they will be able to produce quality work without stressing about having the supplies to do so.

About my class
