  • Parent-Friendly P.B.I.S Rewards

    Funded Aug 25, 2023

Thank you so much for your contribution to our parent-friendly PBIS store! What a blessing it has been to our classroom. The last type of reward that I would want to give an already highly energetic group of children would be snacks laden with sugar. The fig-its and books and activities have been the perfect alternative.

The reward system gives the students something to look forward to when they uphold the PBIS expectations of our school and classroom.

When I am to provide something tangible that they can have and keep, it makes behavior management that much more attainable.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Nelson

  • Video Lesson Supplementation

    Funded Feb 9, 2022

When I found the amazing resource called study.com, I knew I wanted it in my classroom. It has amazing videos that present the ideas in a clear way for students to understand.

After students have a firm grasp on the material presented, they are then able to take quizzes that check their understanding.

As a teacher, I have also been able to benefit from study.com as I prepared to take exams that furthered my career.

Your donation was invaluable and it truly helped my class to reach new heights of excellence.”

  • P.B.I.S Rewards

    Funded Feb 8, 2023

Thank you so much for providing rewards for my students. I love being able to give students consistent and tangible rewards for living out the classroom PBIS expectations. Without your contribution, I would not have been able to provide all these rewards to them.

My classroom has a "behavior beans"

Systems where they earn beans each time they behave in the appropriate way. When they have earned enough beans, they are able to "shop" for some of the reward items that your donation provided.

I have included pictures of our system.”

  • Anchor Chart Supplies

    Funded Feb 10, 2022

Thank you so much for the supplies you provided to prepare anchor charts for my students in class.

By definition peripheral learning is "learning from the environment that students are present in. "Peripheral" learning is encouraged through the presence in the learning environment of posters and decorations featuring the target language and different grammatical information."

The supplies you provided helped me write anchor charts that reinforced grammar and sentence structure and provides an at-a-glance scaffold for students as they write.

    Thanks for everything!”

  • Learning Accommodation Headphones

    Funded Feb 10, 2022

Your donation of headphones for our classroom has proven to be so valuable for the students in my class. They allowed for differentiation in that students who struggled with any aspect of the lesson, could work independently with learning videos to review for understanding and solidify their learning—all while not disturbing other the other students with the volume of videos or various learning sources.

The headphones also helped my ELLs and other students who needed accommodations with read aloud lessons. They were able to have texts read to them and not disrupt the classroom as they read independently.”

  • Warm Lighting To Feel at Home in Class

    Funded Nov 11, 2021

An abundant thank you for your contribution to the feeling of home in our classroom. Before your contribution, the classroom felt harsh and cold and there was no way to warm the existing lighting in the room without the room being too dark for learning.

Then came these four lamps that your donation provided.

The lamps instantly made it so that I could turn off some of the overhead lights and warm up the room without it feeling too dark.

The kids love them!!!! One of my kids even helped to set up the four lamps which made him feel very invested in the project.

    Thank you again!!”

  • Feeling At Home in My Classroom

    Funded Oct 15, 2021

The Rugs, Diffuser and Essential Oils have truly, truly warmed up our classroom and allowed students to feel at home. Your contribution made a profound impact on my students and I thank you very much.

One of our favorite things to do each week is to gather on the rugs and read our book of the week. Students just LOVE that! They also gather near my feet as I am teaching and sit on the rugs to be closer to the board and to stay focused and attentive during class instruction.

I also use rug time as a special treat for students who have stayed focused and on target during the week of instruction.

The essential oils and diffusers truly lift the spirit the in the classroom and help us all feel warm and at home the moment we enter! With the virus, it is also nice to diffuse air purifying essential oils into the air to clean the air for my students!

What a tremendous blessing your donation has been to our classroom. Thank you so much!!”
