Students love to create and explore. Makerspaces are the newest way to allow students the opportunity to use their creativity and imaginations through hands-on experiences in a safe environment. The Legos and Magna-tiles we receive will allow students to expand their skills, construct their own knowledge, and build their confidence while still having fun. I hope to challenge our students by integrating STEM based learning through our new Makerspace activities. These activities are flexible and adaptable to various learning styles and interests, and can evolve with each new group of students that visit the library. My students can't wait to get started!
