We would like to replace the stools around our teaching tables with wobble stools so that students can move their bodies while we are teaching them in small groups. They love the height of the stools, but are constantly moving them and we worry that they will tip and hurt themselves. We are lucky enough to have some wobble stools in our media center and the students love them. They are able to sit and focus better on their books when they can move their bodies. We would like to help them focus when they are working with us during small group instruction. If they are able to get their wiggles out by moving safely on their wobble stools, we know their brains will be ready to learn and be great 2nd graders!
