The tablets will be used by students during literacy workstations and throughout the day. The tablets will help to bridge the gaps by making learning fun and interactive. Having tablets in the classroom will give them the ability and responsibility in the development of own learning. This technology will help my students to access educational websites and will assist me as their teacher in creating specialized designed instruction for each one of my students. They will have access to tutorials, guided reading, and much more. Students will also use the tablets for research. Inquiry based projects are a great way for students to learn and collaborate, therefore researching projects can help students build important skills such as critical thinking skills and communication skills as well as working together as a team. My students will also learn technology skills. Technology is a very powerful tool for education because it makes teaching and learning more meaningful and fun. It will also allow students to learn at their own pace.
