Research shows that young students learn the best when they get to experience play. They learn necessary socio-emotional skills as well as build their creativity when they play with their friends. In my Kindergarten Classroom, we participate in Imagination Stations almost three times a week. During Imagination Stations, while students get to participate in fun choice time activities, I encourage them to play with purpose. Right now my students are in need of new games and activities to help with their purposeful play. With materials like playdough, puzzles, legos and paint, my students get the opportunity to develop their creativity and build a stronger community with their peers as they interact together. With your generous donations to our project you will be helping improve our Kinder's cognitive, emotional and physical development. Games, toys and play time activities are an essential part to imagination station, but it comes at a large cost. With the help of this grant, not only will you be helping my students in their developmental growth, but you will help by putting a smile on their faces as they get to participate and play with all these fun and new activities.
