There is a lot of research in the education world that states if a child is not reading on grade level by the end of 3rd grade, it is highly unlikely that they will ever be able to catch up. I want to change that for my students. I want to bring more books into the classroom. I want to grow their love for reading. This donation will give my students a greater selection of books to read during their independent reading time. They can also choose reading books that are actually interested in. This project will also assist them in increasing their reading fluency and comprehension.

About my class
