Clay is a wonderful, natural resource that provides students sensory stimulation while helping to develop fine motor skills. Our school is very fortunate to have a pottery kiln. However, with the budget cuts as they are, we don’t have the funds to purchase clay and glazes. I know from past years, and past pottery projects, there is something so special about a student creating a very tangible ceramic piece that they can proudly display to their family and enjoy for years to come. It truly is a magical moment when they see their final ceramic piece. Please help us bring these wonderful projects to our well-deserving students.
