With your help my students will have the opportunity to achieve mastery test cores and increase their reading and writing skills with the Common Core Daily Comprehension practice journals, writing centers and Vocabulary and Grammar bingo series. Learning to read and write is an essential part of first grade development. The practice resources will give my students a great jump start! The class printer and ink will allow me to bring reading and writing to life by producing quality and culturally relevant documents! These items will help to rebuild our class environment and learning foundation. At our school each student is tested four times a year on reading and writing, including Kindergarten and first grade. The assessment is called SWWE (School Wide Writing Assessment). The items I have chosen, will help the students achieve the highest score possible with daily reading and writing practice.
