My students are focused and motivated to learn when using their creative and critical thinking skills in STEAM projects in the library. The magnetic whiteboard divider will allow me to create a separate area for groups to collaborate as well as a vertical workspace. Building with gears and marble runs provides a fun and interactive way to get my students sorting, counting, designing, and building. Tangrams are great ways to sharpen visual and spatial skills while learning shapes and colors. Creating the patterns and puzzles on a magnetic surface will allows students to make changes to their designs as they work. Because I have the youngest learners in my school along with special needs students, these are also helpful in developing their fine motors skills. By setting up stations around the room, my students will be able to work together collaboratively and move around to see each others' projects. In addition, the magnetic board and accessories will allow me to reuse them for multiple classes in one day.
