These materials will provide my students with the modified, individualized and active learning that they are so deserving of. With fun and educational manipulatives that they enjoy, my students will learn while playing. Keeping them engaged will lessen the behaviors of these first time students with special needs. I plan to utilize these items to facilitate positive social engagement. I have chosen a variety of materials for different centers in the classroom. I want to increase the variety of materials in each area of my classroom, thus providing many opportunities to see engagement with my students flourish, both individually and socially.
