My students are a inspiring group of individuals. They are a class of 3-8 year old students in a split level kindergarten/first grade class. All of my students have been identified to receive support for various special needs (Autism, Emotional Support, Multiple Disability, etc.). As many of you know, the characteristics and needs of having special needs vary from student to student. My students divide their time between my self-contained classroom and a general education classrooms. They work diligently every day to be accepted, and understood by their peers while strongly focusing on their academics and routines.
