About my class

Although more than deserving of opportunities to thrive, lack of resources and tools have often limited the learning experiences that I can create in the classroom. My students deserve the opportunity to develop the skills they'll need to compete in a tech savvy and innovative society. This why it's important for me to create engaging lessons that will support their critical and creative thinking skills! By creating more interactive learning experiences for my students using tools such as Ozobots, Legos, Rory's Story Cubes, and performance equipment, they will have the opportunity to get engaged and excited about their learning. The skills they will gain are ones that will support them far beyond the classroom. Whether we are using these tools to practice measurement and conversion, STEAM challenges, creative writing, performance of their pieces, reader's theater, or one of the many other possibilities, I want to provide my students with memorable and valuable learning experiences.
