I would like to offer my students more flexible seating options in the classroom. I would like to purchase the rockers and cushions to allow my students to freely move around the room or even take them outside to be used when learning. Just as all students learn differently, some students learn better when being able to sit on the floor, on a couch, or are able to rock. Not all students learn best from sitting at a desk all day. One of the benefits of flexible seating is that it allows for students to be able to move. When students are given this opportunity, it increases oxygen to the brain and their metabolism, which helps to keep their minds more alert and engaged.
