Teaching changes every year, however, this year is something no one could have ever predicted. I teach third grade in an inner city school where resources are scarce. Students in my classroom are excited to learn. They have a desire to learn how to read and are curious students. You can connect students to learning through providing them with educational resources that inspire, motivate and equip them to be life-long learners. I have approximately 30 students. These students have not stepped in their school since they were in first grade! It is my dream that we can create an environment in which they can refocus, feel safe, and close the gap. Every little bit helps. We are a family and we are in this together. I want to create an easy transition and reignite that passion and love for learning within the classroom. Having these resources will make that possible. Thank you for your consideration.
