I am looking to implement more grade-level appropriate math throughout my day. Through my research, I have found that Every Day Counts Calendar Math has all of the components that I would need to start introducing topics to students and also continuing to build on previously learned skills. This is also something that students would be able to refer to throughout the day and make connections to since calendar time is still such an essential part of our day in second grade. Each kit is catered to grade- level specific standards so that students continue to grow and learn appropriately.
