My students are active learners who enjoy learning through play. Activities are hands-on and geared toward preparing students for kindergarten. Students also learn social skills through free-choice, center-based interaction. The skill of reading comprehension is introduced through verbal retell, and many of the activities completed throughout the day require oral communication. Games are often played that help students learn academic material, but also learn social/emotional skills as well. A sense of community can be felt across the school campus. Students and teachers take care of each other and the school making it a place everyone wants to be each day.
