My students learn in a hands-on learning environment. Long gone are the days of textbooks, paper, and pencils. We are learning through hands-on activities and games. Our school has roughly 1700 students and over 200 teachers. My students come from families where they don't have the extra technology at home. and the computers they see in the classroom may be the only thing they see all year. English is the second language for 90% of the students in our school. This extra technology will give the kids an extra opportunity to learn the content and be creative in their learning.
