We are on the move! We are a small African American and Latino community building literacy against the odds of limited incomes, housing, working parents, homelessness and the harsh realities of a challenging economy. We are a title one program improvement school striving in California to build student literacy, parent awareness, and academic achievement focusing on a college-bound theme! Our students are eager to learn, motivated to succeed, and are proud of their achievements as they earn medals from producing proficient and advanced scores on our state annual assessment. They are becoming the change they want to see as they build literacy advancing kinder to fifth grade in spite of the odds.
