These new books will continue to enhance the classroom that I strive to create. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy. They borrow books for AR tests but we often run out. I read to them often and they read independently! After much research and talking to other successful teachers, I have realized we need these Dear Dragon books to boost reading comprehension. Our school library has a few from the series but I would love to have a class set I can keep in my library. Students will be able to choose books, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading and comprehension. My students already have shown an enormous interest in reading, these books will just help increase their love of reading!
