Please help me to make my classroom comforting and welcoming to my students on August 8, 2016. Our school was flooded by the raging Elk River on June 23, 2016. Our room received about 3 feet of water and mud. All of my children's books were damaged by the murky water. We lost our carpet where I hold our morning meetings, read aloud, and students sit and read to self. The water picked up my bookcases and emptied them of all our math manipulatives, and ELA games for small groups.
