My students have been working so hard during this remote learning. We have adapted pretty well, given the circumstances. But, nothing replaces the real thing, so I want to help bring our classroom into their homes as much as possible. What we are lacking, is the ability for me to record lessons/videos showing me working through complex problems or even performing experiments that they are missing out on. An iPad will help me make, record, and present quality instruction at home. I will be able to record high-resolution demonstrations, note guides, and will be able to work through complex chemistry problems with my students using the pen. This step-by-step approach will help them better understand concepts. I will also be able to grade papers more efficiently and quickly since I can do that from the IPad. Even when we are back in the classroom, I will still be able to use the iPad to project step by step demonstrations for complex chemistry problems onto resources we have there.
