My preschool-aged students are challenged each day due to their disability. Young learners with autism spectrum disorder require a well defined, structured learning environment. I believe this ABC rug would provide my students with a warm, inviting, structured space for them to learn with minimal distractions. The students I educate are part of the public school district. They are learning in a substantially separate classroom with the opportunity to be integrated into an integrated preschool classroom when they are ready to do so.
