My LCD projector is 25 years old. When I show film clips, famous art, or student presentations, the image on the screen is very blurry and hard to read. For example last week I projected Pieter BruegeI's painting "The Fall of Icarus" to teach my students about the artistic interpretation of literature. The image was extremely hard to see, so students were not able to discuss it with as much detail. I use this projector almost every day. I also project from a document camera to help students with annotations, literary analysis, and writing instruction. This is especially important during our Shakespeare unit on "Macbeth." We need a new LCD Projector to help my students bring their learning into focus. The 25-year old one just doesn't project sharply anymore.
