My students have really helped make my first year at a new school and teaching different grade levels, an amazing experience this year. Even without having enough staffing in my classroom (no paraprofessionals when we should have two), my students have stepped up and have really learned how to rely on each other. They are in the sixth to eighth grade. All have unique sensory and educational needs and spend the majority of their day in my classroom instead of switching classes like their peers.
