Our students are 9-12 graders who have faced tough times early in life and need individualized education to help them succeed. Several of our students choose our school so that they can work at their own pace and graduate from high school a year earlier than they would at a traditional school. Our students are driven. Many of them are 18 and are not required by law to go to school, but they see value in earning a diploma and will work hard to get it. The mission of our school is to engage students who are no longer a part of the traditional high school setting. We work with our approximately 200 students to develop personalized learning plans that enable each student to move toward graduation. We support students in mastering basic skills utilizing technology and help them develop an interest in lifelong learning. Our school is continuously developing new programs that support this mission.
