The furniture I have requested will replace a piece of old and faulty furniture. We already have the chairs for it! The small group horse shoe table will provide a setting for targeted small group instruction in math. Currently small group instruction is being conducted at an outdated wobbly rectangular table. It is difficult to address the needs of each student because the table is small and the students are not facing me during small group instruction. The horse shoe table will also give the students more room to complete their work during small group. Too often, there are two- three students that sit with their work on a clipboard in their lap.
