"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!" This is our classroom quote. We as a class work toward "doing the impossible." We work toward high test scores and mastering our lessons. Many of my kids come from families that hope that my students will be first generation college graduates. We are in a very low economic area in Connecticut - many of my kids don't have a mom and dad, or can't afford a pencil or folder. Many of my kids look forward to school because we keep it a happy bright environment, which is much different than their home lives. If you didn't know their background though, you'd never be able to guess. " I love school," and "learning is fun!" are two quotes I hear frequently while I see ear to ear smiles!
