Literacy is the foundation that all students need to have in order to compete in the global work force. I want my students to be passionate readers and choose to read for enjoyment. In order to make this goal a reality, I have to create positive reading experiences for them that will endure in their memory and spark their interest to become a reader. By participating in the Global Read Aloud 2017, I hope to create this type of memory for my students and allow them to enjoy a shared reading experience with other students all around the world! By providing these books for my students, I will be able to put this plan into action and enable them to take part in this terrific event.

About my class
