First graders will be introduced to the concepts of computer science and coding in a screen free way. They will be able to design a series of codes, input those codes, and watch how the amazing Botley will carry out their programs. Botley is able to detect and follow lines, follow looping commands, navigate obstacle courses, detect objects and avoid contact, and follow sets of codes. Teaching a child that they can control how a robot works is an amazing thing. Their eyes explode with excitement as Botley is able to follow their commands. Botley is perfect for promoting critical thinking and problem solving skills.
