I am a teacher who is enthusiastic and truly believe in life long learning. I will be more successful in spreading this mindset with my students with the included materials. I believe that all children are able to succeed with the right teaching and the right resources. I like to reach all learners through their different learning styles including the visual and auditory learners but especially through the hands-on learning that will be provided by these donations. These materials will help my students be successful in their learning by providing hands on learning experiences that are fun and engaging! Early Math Manipulative Library - This library of manipulatives will provide my students with different tools to engage hands-on for topics that are new or a review for my students. Word Work Activity Stations - These stations will allow my students to build words to increase and improve their speaking, reading, and writing vocabulary. Lakeshore Student Clocks - These clocks will allow my students to demonstrate and practice hands-on by moving the minute hand and the hour hands to see how time changes the placement of the clock hands. Classroom Magnetic Letters Kit - These letter kits will help my ESL students as well as my other students to build words to increase their speaking, reading and writing vocabulary. Place Value Activity Kit - This activity kit will provide all of my students to build numbers based on hundreds, tens, thousands and ones. Hands-On Addition Regrouping Kit - This kit will help my students understand and practice addition with regrouping. Math Dice Tub - The different types of dice in this tub will provide my students fun ways to practice different math topics as a review or a new learning experience.
