I teach in a rural school in South Carolina that is located in a high poverty area and provides a free full-day Montessori program for children who register for ages 3, 4, and 5. In our Montessori classroom you will find children moving about the room, choosing lessons throughout the day that help them develop a sense of order, concentration, coordination and independence. My children are very eager to learn and curious about the natural world around them. We are working to build a sense of ownership and responsibility of our classroom environment.

About my class
