In the district where I teach I can not always be sure my students will have the supplies needed to complete my lessons at home. With these colored pencils and sketchbooks, I will know that each one of my high school students will have the means necessary to complete the work and succeed. With just colored pencils we will be leaning about several different styles of art, including and not limited to, folk, realism, surrealism and cartooning. We will discuss blending and shading and use grid lines and not. The students will be challenged but feel accomplished when we are done.
