I teach second grade in Nashville, Tennessee. This is my third year in second grade. My school is a Title I, urban public school. Most of my students come from poverty or homes that are just making "ends" meet. This year I have a group of very sweet, energetic second graders. My parents are very supportive and are doing what they can to help their children be successful in school.
