I work in Lehigh Acres, Florida at an Arts school. Our school consists of mostly students who qualify for free and reduced lunch. As I said earlier, I teach and intensive reading class because majority of my students are ESOL meaning they struggle with English so we spend our day working on reading skills, fluency, word recognition, and math. I would love to give my students the opportunity to be creative. Since we are a school for the arts, many of my students excel in art and since we are always focusing on Reading, I want them to have the chance to express them with something they love-art.
